A downloadable game for Windows
Being a surveillance officer is hard. Your duty is to monitor security cameras and report emergencies. As it usually is, looking at the screens soon gets tedious because nothing really happens when you stare at them.
Thank god you have internet and other little things to idle away. But remember to check cameras sometimes, this is the job you're paid for after all.
The game was created during #LD42 under 72 hours. The link on entry: LD Entry Hope you guys find it funny, entertaining or annoying. All is good.

it would be better if you could do more, such as basic games or just replying to emails, or also making more things to report about, good game though :)

Umm not sure if this is just me but all I got was a black screen that allowed me to paint white pixels? is this an known issue or just my crappy PC?
Sound seemed to be working fine but just moving the cursor put white pixels on a black screen (To be more specific about the issue)
This is a jam game and as such not optimized or tested properly. All kinds of bugs are possible as well. Could you give us more details of your setup, cause that seems like a very rare bug in general.

That uh... was kinda lackluster? Kinda going in, saying it had things to distract you from the mundane of just looking at cameras made me think there would be things to actually grab my attention to pass the time, but the internet is just a home page and the emails are just that, you read it and you don't need to read it again. I even gave the chance to do something interesting by not reporting an alert, but nothing happened. There's a good few funny bits here and there, like when you report in just to say hi, or just random emails from time to time, but other than that it's pretty empty. Maybe some little mini games, like minesweeper, or some other game you'd find preinstalled on an old computer, or as one commenter posted, quests like searching the internet for like recipes and just like that. Anyway, made a video, hope you enjoy.

We really enjoyed creating it, so we will definitely consider making something like this in the future. As for now, we're currently working on a game already. This year's LD was basically "a day off" in development.
i actually like mundane games but i still think the devs could have continued working on it in there spare time

i think a bunch of just little funny things to mess around with, its not as fun when all you can do is read emails and look at the "homepage of the internet'". again, not saying this is a bad game, just kinda boring. idk

Hello, i can see there is conversation about things to add in this game. I think you should obviously add quest to game so you HAVE to browse internet to find idk recipe for fried chicken or something on cameras, and games, the concept of the game is great tough
